The breeding program of Neer Hereford Ranch continues to meet the demanding  requirements of commercial cattlemen in the high desert area of northeast California, southeast Oregon, and northwest Nevada.   Fertility, feed efficiency, sound structure with heavy bone, good feet and legs, gentle disposition, and finally, size with thickness and length are all criteria for breeding an ideal cattle herd that will produce outstanding bulls and replacement heifers.
